Physical Education at Hillcrest Elementary School, East Moline
Physical Education is not only an opportunity for your child to acquire and develop physical-motor skills which will promote life-long fitness and overall health. It is also plays an important role in the development of social skills, turn-taking, sharing, following rules, and interacting with others. Often times, the less structured setting allows teachers and parents to identify issues which may affect the learning occuring within the classroom setting. This blog page is an opportunity for teachers and parents to share their thoughts and ideas regarding the physical educational program at Hillcrest. I will also post some links to web sites with valuable information regarding the health and well being of your child. Feel free to contact me in person if you have questions regarding your child.
